Brya Scott, Blair Henderson, and Jaela Simmons showed RESPECT for our school facilities and TEAMWORK to clean up a spilled drink in front of the Cougars’ Den this afternoon. They also showed INTEGRITY by accepting responsibility for the mishap rather than walking away for staff to handle it.

Ethan Safrit showed KINDNESS when he helped a teacher prepare their next class.

Mazin Shaaban, Evan Syer, and Jack Smith earned a Core Value for COURAGE, showing up at a House event as the only freshmen! Great job!

Kaylee Dobbins and Jack Hines demonstrated COURAGE when they danced to Mr. Nicky’s introduction to Mesopotamia in history class! Way to go!

Joel Hedgepeth showed KINDNESS when he held the door into the building for basically the entire student body after the fire drill. Thanks, Joel!

Reagan Pinkerton earned a Core Value of KINDNESS by gifting a drink to her teacher after mentioning she should try it. Great job, Reagan; it was delicious!

Aniah Love demonstrated INTEGRITY when she asked clarifying questions about the use of AI on a project to ensure that she was staying within the acceptable guidelines. Way to go, Aniah!!

Fedel Smith and Shawn Kennedy demonstrated KINDNESS when they picked up trash left behind by other students.  We appreciate you both!!

Keira Cassidy earned a Core Value for KINDNESS by bringing in cupcakes to celebrate a classmate’s birthday! She made the day special! Way to go, Keira!

Addison Maynor earned a Core Value for KINDNESS. She allowed a peer to borrow a rain jacket so that she could keep her hair/clothes dry! Great job, Addison!

Linden Sonnefeld and Sally Woolwine earned a Core Value for TEAMWORK with their leadership and contributions to Techo! They are working hard to bring the Winterm experience and club to our community. Way to go!

All Upper School students should arrive at the CPAC by 12:35 (our Student Life block) to hear from our guest speakers, learn more about the Unity Pledge, complete our Unity Walk, and sign the Unity Pledge.

Zoe Griffith earned a Core Value for KINDNESS when she brought in donuts and candles to celebrate a classmate’s birthday. That was very sweet, Zoe!

Taylar Gordon earned a Core Value for INTEGRITY by turning in a wallet she found. Thanks, Taylar! Its owner was very appreciative of your honesty.

Tyler Donia, Sadi Bulut, Canon Diana, and Grant Lam showed strength and TEAMWORK by breaking down and disposing of a giant shipping crate in the MiLL.

Sam Gilligan showed KINDNESS today when he willingly helped his classmate in class today!

Orietta Grady, Millie Mattingly, and John Hasson earned a Core Value for RESPECT by participating in class discussions and asking thoughtful questions to move the class forward. Way to go!

Kennedy Laguerre and Oscar Hernandez showed TEAMWORK when they carried some heavy boxes up to the English hallway.

Eleanor Avett demonstrated TEAMWORK by representing Peer Support Team at New Student Orientation by providing guidance for our 9th grade students and our new to Cannon 10th-12th graders.

Kaylin Kenseth, Jessie Wrenholt, and Lexie Penrose showed kindness staying after new student orientation to wait with their new advisory peer until a parent arrived, they also made sure to make her feel welcome, walking her to class and inviting her to eat with them at lunch! Awesome job on welcoming new students to the Cannon Community.

Pratyush Siva showed kindness by stepping up and helping another student find their way on campus. He went the extra mile by walking the student to their location. Thank you Pratyush for supporting fellow students!

Teagan Jaffe, Coco Ward, and Audrey Harper earned a Core Value for courage when reaching out to their teacher to ask a clarifying question. Great job!

Athena Gargagliano displayed KINDNESS when she carried a heavy bookbag for a friend who is on crutches!

Hours of Operation: 

Blocks A-F, Office Hours, After School, starting at 3:10

Please make sure to review the following rules of this space.

Students need to…

  • Be respectful and courteous to the proctor
  • Adhere to the conditions outlined in the Cannon School Honor Code at all times.
  • Report to the Testing Center within 10 minutes (or by 3:10 PM after school) of any given class period to begin a make-up assessment. **This does NOT apply to students taking an assessment during class time with accommodations.**
  • Immediately check in with the proctor.
  • Place cell phones in the caddy upon entering the Testing Center.
  • Take care of any bio needs before starting the assessment.

Be mindful of others who may be working. Please enter and exit the Testing Center quietly.

Richelle Syer showed KINDNESS  by spending the day helping Mrs. Colquhoun and Dr. Smith clean whiteboards and move a lot of heavy materials from Dr. Smith’s room to the Mill. Thank you, Richelle! You helped us so much!

Makala Stavrakas, Edi Zywicki, Isabella Westmoreland, Kate Whittington, Hannah Wittwer, Jackson Laws, Ben O’Hara, Shuvani Regmi, Canon Diana, Ethan Safrit, Katie Antosek, Avery Fawcett, and Fiona Gibbons all demonstrated TEAMWORK by representing either STUCO or Peer Support Team at New Student Orientation by providing guidance for our 9th grade students and our new to Cannon 10th-12th graders.

Zach Humrickhouse was sitting with a new student yesterday during our grade meeting to make him feel included. I love how Zach cares so deeply for his fellow students. He doesn’t hesitate to make them feel seen and supported.
