In a time of need, Ethan Safrit heroically responded by identifying and delivering a lost item to a student for a teacher. Thank you for your INTEGRITY!
Avery Wagner demonstrated KINDESS when she stayed behind in Student Life to clean up the tables from snacks.
Charlie Thetford showed KINDNESS when he proved there really IS no wrong way to eat a Reese’s by sharing with a teacher. Forget the typical “five love languages.” The way to this teacher’s heart is through chocolate and peanut butter.

This past weekend, Cannon C.R.A.S.H. earned the Think Award at our second FTC regional event. The Think Award recognizes the team that best documents and communicates its engineering design process, highlighting in-depth, iterative, and creative problem-solving through research, brainstorming, prototyping, testing, and reflection.

Tickets are now on sale for Cannon Theater Company’s Feb 11-14 production of “Mean Girls: High School Version” and can be reserved here! Adapted from Tina Fey’s hit 2004 film, the Mean Girls musical that took Broadway by storm is now being brought to you by our very own troupe of skilled, hard-working, and wildly creative Upper School students.

Mean Girls: High School Version” is a hilarious and uplifting but earnest cautionary tale about issues like bullying, social media impact, and the complexities of high school friendships. While the high school version of the musical tones down some of the original’s profanity and innuendo, it still retains the story’s realistic, PG-13 edge. For more specifics, feel free to reach out to director Andy Macdonald at amacdonald@cannonschool.org.
And don’t forget to mark your calendar for the 7th-8th grade production of “Dare To Dream Jr.”, a musical for all ages to be performed Feb 27 at 7:00pm!

Students wishing to serve on next year’s Honor Council should reach out and speak with either Mrs. Lineberger or Dean Booker and submit a speech by Wednesday, Feb 20, no later than 3pm.

All fundraisers (monetary or items collected) require pre-approval. Bake sales DO NOT need approval. Fill out this form to start the approval process. See Mrs. Weakland with any questions!
