Congratulations to Eleanor Avett on winning the Greater Cabarrus Reading Association’s Young Authors Contest. Eleanor’s poem was chosen to represent3 Cabarrus County in the statewide competition. She will be honored in April for her accomplishment. Thank you for sharing your PASSION with the world, Eleanor!
Coleson Bryan, Joshua Vining, Max Pegram, and Tripp Cooler all helped Mrs. Velandia move some heavy packages from the parking lot to Foundation Hall. We appreciate your TEAMWORK, friends!
Josiah King and Trent Loggins showed RESPECT for our community spaces by cleaning up the entire Commons before leaving school.
On Monday, members of Cannon School’s DECA Chapter competed at the district competition, and we are thrilled to celebrate their incredible success! Competing for the first time ever, our students stood out among thousands of participants, earning recognition in several categories:


Sajan Patel – Hotel Lodging and Management: 1st place!
Grant Springate – Principles of Marketing: 3rd place!
Delaney Bruderek – Principles of Marketing: Role Play Award
Aashvi Shah – Personal Financial Literacy: Role Play Award
Keenya Western – Principles of Marketing: Role Play Award
Other Cannon Students who participated were Danny Saltzman, Henry Anthony, Olivia Long, Janani Karthik, John Murash, Mia Wheeldon, Shuvani Regmi, Arjun Ram, and Disha Induru.
