Ben O’Hara demonstrated TEAMWORK by helping Mrs. Holliway answer questions about Cannon E-Sports during a tour for a prospective family.

Sophia Baise, Sydney Lisk, Lara Bulat, and Vivi Lowe supported the American Diabetes Association this weekend by volunteering their Saturday morning to set up and support the 2024 Tour de Cure NC in Asheboro, NC.  Over $100K was raised through the event! Thanks for your KINDNESS and TEAMWORK!

Since Foundation Hall will be home to the “Ultimate Study Space” now-May 30, room 606 will be CLOSED to students the remainder of the school year. All the things you love about 606 can be found in Foundation Hall! We look forward to hosting you in FH as you prepare for final papers, projects, presentations, and exams. Let’s end the 23-24 school year strong!

The ARC needs YOUR help! (Academic Resource Center)

We’ve loved hosting you for academic coaching appointments and study/work sessions this year. Whether you are a frequent visitor or just pop in every now and then for coffee or chocolates, your feedback is vital to the growth and continued success of the ARC.

Here’s how you can help:

  1. Check your email RIGHT NOW (seriously… open your email, we’ll wait 😊).
  2. Ok, now scroll to Mrs. Kulp’s “Feedback Needed” email(s). Are you there? Do you see it? Perfect…
  3. Now, click the survey link in the “Feedback Needed” email.
  4. Almost done – now take 3-5 minutes (yes, right now!) to complete the survey. Cougar Growls all around for those of you filling out the survey – you are AWESOME!

We greatly appreciate you taking these few minutes to share your thoughts – we can’t wait to hear from you!

The BrainyYak’s project is to aid the visually impaired in making recognizable facial expressions for theatrical performances. We are bringing this project to the international stage on May 31st. We would greatly appreciate your help! Please visit our website and/or share with friends and family (especially if they are international!) This will improve our visibility and aid in more visually impaired students in pursuing their dreams!

Thank you very much,
The Brainy Yaks

Students:  If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser, including collecting products, you must receive prior approval.  Please fill out this form, print it, and turn it in to Mrs. Weakland.

The Department of Student Connection has identified a need to improve student group and community representation in our social media. Please utilize this form to submit photos, videos, flyers, etc. with captions through this Google Form OR send files and captions to Dean Zelaya mzelaya@cannonschool.org to be posted on the @CannonUpperSchool Instagram account. We would like all voices, groups, organizations, and clubs to be represented, united, and cherished! Reach out to Ashmi Trivedi ’24 atrivedi@cannonschool.org if you have questions.

**This Week’s Schedule**
