Leaders Unite! 

Our Keynote speakers on Thursday will be Cannon School’s Lower School Deans, Ms. Deanna Dobbins, and Ms. Melissa Fox.  Topic: The value of PLANNING for leaders.  EVERYONE is welcome! Join us in Foundation Hall for Leadership Lunch!

All students are invited to submit their work to Vol. 5 of The Ink, the Upper School’s literary arts magazine! We are looking for poetry, prose, short fiction, essays, photography, drawings, prints, illustrations, paintings, graphic design/digital artwork, multimedia work, and digital recordings of performances. The deadline for submissions is TODAY!!

Classes and behind-the-wheel instruction will be provided by WatsOnWheels

The classes will be held Monday, November 27th through Friday, December 8th from 4:00 – 7:00. Cost is $450

Students must be 14½ years of age when the classes begin to be eligible to register. To complete the class, students must have thirty hours of class time and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.  We hope to offer another class in the spring through WatsOnWheels, but we have yet to schedule specific dates.

Cannon Cultures to award TWO $2,000 scholarships to seniors!

Cannon Cultures is a parent organization committed to cultural diversity and inclusion at Cannon
 
The organization serves to help support students, parents, and teachers to help create cultural awareness and acceptance.
 
Applications will elicit essay responses as well as demonstrated volunteerism and involvement in Cannon Cultures events (i.e. Worldly Wednesdays, Winter Wonderland, etc.). Finalists will be invited to participate in an interview as a final phase of evaluation.
